The United States has blacklisted five companies in China for allegedly supporting Russia’s military and defense. In addition, 31 companies from other countries have been added to the blacklist, of which 20 companies operate in China. The Chinese embassy in Washington has stated that Beijing will not provide military assistance to Russia or Ukraine.
According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, the listed companies are said to have distributed supplies before the invasion of Ukraine. The ministry said they have been doing so since the imposition of Western sanctions. The West has long feared that China would support Russia’s military. This is the first time evidence has emerged that this is actually happening.

U.S. suppliers must now apply for a license before delivering goods to these companies. “With this, we are sending a strong message to companies and individuals around the world that if they want to support Russia, the United States will stop them,” the Commerce Department said in a statement.
It’s about the following five companies in China: Kanek Electronic Limited, Hong Kong – based World Jetta, Logistics Limited, King by Technology Co., Ltd and Winning Electronics.
There has been no response so far from the EU on the possible consequences for European companies.
