They also greatly appeal to the imagination: mobile phones in movies and series about the future are often transparent pieces of glass through which you can do all sorts of things, like request information and send messages.

With the ThinkBook Transparent Laptop, Lenovo has created a kind of tablet with a keyboard that looks great, as the photos show. the edge. The device is a beast: It's 17.3 inches and offers 55 percent transparency when the pixels are turned off. However, when lit, the screen becomes noticeably less transparent.

It's a device you have to be very careful with. After all, it would probably be too fragile without further housing. You can also wonder if it's really helpful, or is it just some kind of gimmick: is it actually good for you? If you work on the train, you see half the chair and half the table through the screen, and in the office you will always see your colleague across the street moving around. A bit annoying, yes.

According to Lenovo, the idea is that people who are visually creative, for example by making designs, can greatly benefit from this laptop: in the lower half (which is not just a keyboard, but can also function as a drawing tablet) there is a space for Drawing And upstairs you can look at the world through the glass. Although the latter would make readability difficult. However, different background colors will help greatly.
