In America, but elsewhere, turkey was on the table yesterday. Thanksgiving is celebrated around the world as a day to show gratitude and eat with family and friends.
Like every year, it’s busy airports, traffic jams, and supermarkets across the United States nearly sell out of turkey.
Vacation is also used to help the less fortunate. For example, in Los Angeles and New Mexico, people cooked for the homeless:

And Thanksgiving seems to be becoming increasingly popular in the Netherlands. Earlier, Dutch turkey suppliers reported that the fourth Thursday of November has seen more orders per turkey in recent years.
