Why is this important?
In recent years, private space companies have made great strides in making space travel more accessible to individuals. But so far no company has built a private space station. Currently, there are only two stations in Earth orbit: the International Space Station and China’s Tiangong (Heavenly Palace) station.In the news: Wednesday Announce huge It has signed a contract with Elon Musk’s SpaceX company to deliver a module from its space station, Haven-1, into space no later than August 2025.
