Thomas Henry is no stranger to Belgian football. The great French striker has played for Tubize and the OHL in the past. Henry caused a stir, especially in Den Drive. The Frenchman scored 45 goals in 79 matches for OHL.
In 2021, Henry moved to Serie A’s Venice, where he immediately scored 9 goals in his first season. It earned him a move to Hellas Verona last summer, but Henry hasn’t been able to strike any sparks there yet.
Last weekend, Henry was again on the bench against Lecce, but with Verona leading 2-0, the Frenchman was allowed to come on with ten minutes left. In extra time, disaster befell Henry: he cut himself and left the field in tears.
Judgment is not a bid. Henry tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and is likely to be sidelined for six months. News they will not be happy with at Anderlecht.
Last week, Henry was explicitly linked to the RSCA to solve the rush hour problem at Astrid Park. Brussels residents are urgently looking for additional scoring power following the departure of Fabio Silva. Henry seemed like the perfect solution (Rent), but Friedberg and colleagues. So delete.
