Tight boxing camp approaches: Legend Mike Tyson (57 years old) enters the ring against Jake Paul, who is 30 years his junior | sports

Great boxing camp next summer. None other than legend Mike Tyson (57 years old) will step into the ring against YouTuber and professional boxer Jake Paul (27 years old) in July. The camp will be held at the NFL Stadium in Dallas and will be streamed live on Netflix.

There is a thirty-year age difference between the two men, but that is not stopping Mike Tyson, one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time, and phenom Jake Paul from competing against each other in the boxing ring next summer. The exciting camp is scheduled to take place on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, an American football stadium that can seat at least 80,000 spectators.

And it doesn't stop there, because the event will be broadcast live on Netflix, which the camp announced this afternoon with a promotional video. In it, Paul arrives at Tyson's house by helicopter and they have a nose-to-nose encounter for the first time. The camp is clearly aiming very high.

To liven up the camp a little, both gentlemen have already given some very confident first quotes. “Jake Paul has improved significantly as a boxer in recent years, so it will be fun to see what the ambitious ‘kid’ can achieve against the GOAT experience,” Tyson noted.

Statements that Paul was clearly not impressed with. “My goal is to become a world champion and now I get the chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of all time, the worst person on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. This is going to be the fight of my life. It's time to put Iron Mike to sleep.” Paul, the partner of the famous Dutch skater Jutta Leerdam, has 9 victories in his boxing career, 6 of which were by knockout, and only one defeat. He suffered that in early 2023 against Tommy Fury, the younger brother of heavyweight Tyson Fury.

Mike Tyson has been retired from boxing since 2005, and returned to the boxing ring in 2020 to fight an exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr. It is not yet clear whether this fight will be classified as a professional bout or an exhibition event.
