Premier League
Not a good few weeks to be a Tottenham fan. A week after the penalty in Newcastle, Tottenham also swallowed 3 quick goals in Liverpool. After a strong comeback, Tottenham still gave up the win: 4-3.
A week ago in Newcastle Tottenham were blushing and this scene was repeated today in Tottenham. Fifteen minutes later it was 3-0 to Liverpool and Tottenham looked ready for another pimp.
But once some of the Spurs fans started leaving Anfield, Spurs warmed up. Harry Kane started the comeback before half-time, Son continued after an assist, and substitute Richarlison made it 3-3 in extra time.
It seemed that Tottenham’s comeback had a happy ending, but a minute after Richarlison’s goal, Spurs were back in a sack and ashes. Diogo Jota took full advantage of Lucas Moura’s mistake and made it 4-3.
