News of Paul’s death comes about two months after the group announced their reunion tour. Meanwhile, the band also confirmed the sad news on Instagram. “It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of our beloved son and brother, Paul Cattermole.” The aforementioned statement was also distributed by the singer’s family.
The cause of his death is not yet known. The police confirmed that she was not involved in committing a crime. “Paul’s family, friends and S Club colleagues would like to request more privacy.” The rest of the group also released the following statement: “No words can describe our immense sadness. We are grateful to have known Paul and the many wonderful memories.”
In mid-February, S Club 7 announced – after many rumors – that they had plans for a reunion tour. “After an eight-year hiatus, it’s great to announce that we will soon be back on stage together,” it sounded at the time during “The One Show.” “We are very much looking forward to celebrating S Club 7’s 25th anniversary with our fans.” Tickets for the tour have been on sale since Friday, February 17th. There are eleven shows in all. It is not yet known if this will continue.
