Yesterday’s victory over superpower China, the Belgian Bulls set aside Turkey, ranked ninth in the world. The Belgians had some problems with Turkey and were only able to secure victory in the absolute final. Final score: 4-6.
After a good start against China, our national guards were excited for our second win in the group stage. Before that, Turkey had to win first.
The match started with anticipation. Both teams could not score the goal. Turkey was not able to take the lead until about midway through the first half. Our compatriots seem to be diving into the changing rooms with the backlog of work, but just before the break Tom Vanhoef manages to hook the plates. 1-1.
Then things went much smoother in the second half. Our goal-ball guys easily found their way into the goal this time. However, the Turks made it interesting. But top scorer Cleison Mabrini managed to achieve a second victory for the Belgian Bulls in the final with his second victory in the match.
Belgium will start with two consecutive victories and can already cautiously dream about the quarter-finals. Tomorrow, the Belgian goalkeepers will face Germany in the third match of the group.
