Union SG are busy building their talent pool by recruiting young guests from other big clubs in Belgium. The Brussels people have signed a player who recently announced his retirement from playing with Anderlecht. A delicate transfer.
Likebeli to Union SG
The 18-year-old physically imposing midfielder, Steve Lakepele, has made the short move from Anderlecht to Union SG. The youngster shared it on social media. Last week he announced his retirement from coaching Anderlecht after eleven years.
“After 11 years at the club, it is with great emotion that I announce my departure from RSCA. It has been a difficult decision, but it is part of life. The time has come for me to start a new chapter in my career. I will do it,” he said at the time. “I would particularly like to thank the club, the coaches, the physiotherapists, the teachers and everyone who has been involved in my development over these years.”
My friend and my pilgrims
He may join the Union SG promise, as they have signed a number of reinforcements this summer. Two old RSCA acquaintances play at Union SG: Noah Siddiqui and Anouar Ait El Haj.
