Washington (AB / Bloomberg) – The United States has added Chinese services WeChat and AliExpress to its list of markets for counterfeit goods. The Office of the United States Trade Ambassador compiles that list each year. This method list includes 42 online markets and 35 physics markets.
WeChat, owned by a large technology group called Tencent, is known as a chat service outside of China, but can control almost everything the Chinese use. They can also shop there. Alibaba’s AliExpress is known as the best-selling market in the Netherlands.
Note that AliExpress is not the only Alibaba service on the list. Taobao, who belongs to that group, like rival Pinduoduo, has been included for some time. The Chinese companies on the list include search engine Baidu’s cloud service and e – commerce service provider DHgate.com. Nine physics markets in China are also included.
With this list, the United States wants to encourage countries to fight the production and sale of counterfeit goods. Americans have long pointed to China as a major source of counterfeit goods.
