Vincent Kompany has one of his own transfer targets that should help Premier League Burnley keep him. Dara O’Shea has joined Clarets.
The Irish defender is the first newcomer under Vincent Kompany in this transfer window. The 24-year-old international completed eight years at West Brom, two of which were still in youth football. Two periods of loans followed. Now the door is closed for good and a new chapter has begun.
With one team of Kompany. “It makes no sense for you to come here if you can work under someone like that,” The former Red Devil’s track record was once again the deciding factor. “He had a great career as a footballer,” O’Shea said. “I would look up to someone like that.”
