musicVRT MAX will be recording two live podcasts on Sunday, August 20 at the Pukkelpop Festival site. “The Popcast of Pukkelpop” by Studio Brussel and “Do You Understand Me Now?” From VRT NWS.
On the festival grounds in Kiewit, visitors to Pukkelpop will be able to watch live recordings of the VRT podcast. A high-tech tent, E-rena, will be provided where everything will take place.
“The Popcast of Pukkelpop” will be recorded by Studio Brussel between 4 and 5 pm on E-rena. Stijn Van de Voorde and his guests highlight four days of Pukkelpop 2023. Together with Otto-Jan Ham, Kirsten Lemaire, Thibault Christiaensen and Lennert Coorevits, Stijn discusses the best moments, concerts and atmosphere stories.
‘do you understand me now?’ From VRT NWS live from 5pm to 6pm. In this youth podcast by VRT NWS, journalist Aurélie Boffé gives a voice to young people who don’t see life through the same lens, or who have a powerful story on a current topic.
At Pukkelpop, Aurélie invites 3 guests for whom music changed their lives: Joris Brys, Marie Van Uytvanck, and Gustaph. For StuBru presenter Joris Brys, music is his greatest support in life. For Mary van Uytvank of Kids With Buns, music is the most important outlet for difficult, unprocessed feelings. And with Gustave, music really changed everything. With the song “Because of You” he participated in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Both podcasts will be available a day later, starting Monday, August 21, at 4 p.m. on VRT MAX.
