1B Pro League
1B champion Westerlo shared the points with top stalker RWDM in their last game of the season. The latter is now preparing to battle for a ticket in 1A against Seraing.
Westerloo already took the title in 1B, but Kemvanen wanted to spoil the fans one last time this season in their stadium. This also seems to work well. Bernat managed to turn a cross into the goal after only half an hour.
It got even better when Thomas van de Quepos pulled the trigger. Mercenary Club Brugge put the skin in the right place.
Mission accomplished, you think. However, the RWDM team did not hang their heads and returned to the match after a goal from Jan Vorogovsky. Then Florian Le Goncourt brought the visitors to their side.
With this, Kemvanen finished the season with 56 points, seven points behind the Molenbeek runner-up.
RWDM can prepare for promotion jump duels against Seraing, who are 17th and penultimate in the Jupiler Pro League. On Saturday 23 April, the residents of Brussels will host the residents of Liege for the first time. Back in a week.
Van den Kepas made it 2-0:
After the match, the trophy was handed over to the players:
“Subtly charming internet specialist. Avid writer. Friendly alcohol guru. Music ninja. Devoted social media fanatic.”
