Warning and solution
If your phone is in the “Danger Zone”, you will receive a warning from WhatsApp before the app stops working. You may be able to update your device to a newer version of your operating system, via Settings (gear). If that doesn’t work, and if you want to continue using Whatsapp, you will have to buy (er) a new phone. More information can be found via the link at the bottom of this article.
